Yeey!!! Haven’t we all been craving for this moment when the most exciting club competition in the world hits our screens once more?

Now let’s make some good money as BET ROUNDTABLE brings to your doorsteps some betting tips that will make you smile to the bank.

Basel vs Ludogoretz Razgard

Basel have a penchant for European competitions, we expect Basel to win this game and three game would have at least 3 goals

(Basel win and over 2.5)

PSG VS Arsenal

The post Ibrahimovic era has been topsy turvy. Arsenal have a big boost winning their last 2 games in sharp contrast to their hosts who have failed to win in their last 2. It will be a close game

(Double chance on Arsenal)

Barcelona VS Celtic

Barcelona suffered a shock defeat to newly promoted Alaves while Celtic are currently enjoying a 100% run so far with manager, Brendan Rogers winning the league manager for the month of August

Luis Enrique will be putting his best foot forward expect the MSN to star

(handicap 0-1 barca to win)

Manchester City vs Borussia Moenchengladbach

Sergio Aguero is back, and Pep knows how to make it to the knock out stages with ease.

He also knows the German side well enough

(Manchester city to win under 2.5)

Dynamo Kiev - Napoli

This game has draw with all over it. Napoli have been unbeaten in the Serie A so far and expect them to travel down to Ukraine with an intention not to lose.
(Double chance on Napoli)

Benfica vs Besiktas

Both teams love attacking and seem to neglect defending a little bit
Both teams to score

More than 2 goals expected in the game (over 2.5)

PSV Eindhoven vs Atletico Madrid

This fixture last season ended goalless but same result looks unlikely but expect the home team not to lose.

(PSV double chance and under 4.5)

Bayer Leverkusen vs CSKA Moscow

Leverkusen to win

Tottenham Hotspur vs Monaco

Monaco has started this season in the Ligue one brilliantly and expect them to bring same form to London as they face Spurs. Expect the French side not to lose.

(Double chance on Monaco)

Real Madrid vs Sporting Lisbon
With the top goal scorer in the Champions league for last season back to the Madrid set-up and also that thrilling win last weekend, expect Real Madrid to have a healthy win against Sporting.

(Handicap 0-1, Real Madrid to win)

Legia Warszawa VS Borussia Dortmund

Borussia Dortmund to brush aside the weekends sick loss
(Borussia Dortmund to win)

FC Porto VS Koebenhavn

Expect a win for FC Porto in this game though the team from Denmark will not make it too easy for them.

(FC Porto to win)

Both teams to score

Juventus - Sevilla
Juventus straight win

Lyon - Dynamo Zagreb
Lyon to win despite losing last 2 games

Mourinho & Guardiola Reignite Rivalry, Liverpool Look To Beat The Champions

9/9/2016

Henry Jackson

The Premier League is back after the international break, with some mouthwatering matches on offer on Saturday in particular.

It may have only been two weeks that we have had to make do without domestic action, but it feels like a lifetime since Liverpool’s 1-1 draw at Tottenham on August 27.

Just as the Premier League got up and running and into its stride, it was taken away from us in favour of more tedious international football.

It is back with a bang this weekend, however, with 10 matches to look forward to in England’s top flight.

Here is a look at some of the best action on offer.

Huge Manchester Derby

The Manchester derby has always been worth watching, regardless of where Man United and Man City are in the table, but Saturday’s meeting at Old Trafford feels particularly big.

Bitter rivals Jose Mourinho and Pep Guardiola will once again lock horns, as they did during their Real Madrid and Barcelona days, and there is likely to be a general unpleasantness in the air.

Both United and City have won their first three games of the season, and Saturday’s showdown gives the two sides a great opportunity to make a real statement of intent.

The hope is that the duo don’t frustratingly play out a goalless draw, with both Mourinho and Guardiola happy enough to walk away with a point apiece. That is unlikely, though.

With Sergio Aguero suspended, United will fancy their chances on their own turf, but City still have quality in abundance, and an exceptional manager.

Whatever happens, there will be controversy and passion galore.

Can Liverpool See Off The Champions?

Who would ever have thought Leicester City would one day be taking on Liverpool as the reigning Premier League champions?

Their remarkable achievement last season was richly deserved, though, and they now have the job of showing the doubters that it wasn’t just a one-off freak success.

A new-look Anfield welcomes the Foxes on Saturday, with the impressive new Main Stand sure to add to the atmosphere inside the Reds’ world famous ground.

In terms of the actual match, this feels like a must-win for Liverpool, whose first few weeks of the season have been dogged by inconsistency.

It hasn’t been a bad start in the slightest, but failure to beat Leicester, regardless of the threat they pose, would dampen the spirits.

Big performances are needed from the likes of Sadio Mane, Philippe Coutinho and Roberto Firmino, and a ruthless edge is required at both ends of the pitch.

Possible Banana Skins For North London Duo

It has been a steady but unspectacular start to the campaign for both Arsenal and Spurs, with the north London rivals picking up four and five points, respectively.

Although both will believe they should have three more points in the bag come Sunday night, it may not be plain sailing.

Arsenal host Southampton on Saturday afternoon, and while Claude Puel’s Saints side have struggled in the opening weeks, they can always hurt you on their day.

It is the Gunners’ first home game since their 4-3 defeat to Liverpool on the opening weekend, so there is sure to be a certain amount of tension in the air.

Spurs, meanwhile, visit a Stoke City side rooted to the bottom of the table.

The Potters always seems to get off to a slow start, and Mauricio Pochettino’s men must show the lethal streak they possessed for much of last season.

Trips to the Britannia Stadium are never pleasant away days, and Spurs will have to perform well if they are to achieve victory.

Chelsea Look For Four Wins On The Bounce

Without playing particularly well, and going under the radar compared to the other top clubs, Chelsea have won their opening three matches of the campaign.

Antonio Conte has come in and immediately made the Blues looked more well-drilled, and he has also enjoyed the rub of the green on occasions.

Diego Costa has scored late winners against West Ham and Watford, despite being fortunate to still be on the pitch both times, but the west Londoners comfortably dispatched of Burnley at Stamford Bridge last time around.

In Sunday’s only Premier League game, Chelsea face Swansea City at the Liberty Stadium, and we will learn a lot more about the Blues during their trip to Wales.

If Conte’s men go there, outplay their opponents and win comfortably, it will be a strong sign that they will be right in the title mix this season.

The Swans look as though they could have a long season ahead of them, but should they spring a surprise, it will give an enormous boost to both them and the teams at the top.

Moyes Takes On The Toffees

David Moyes enjoyed 11 very productive years as Everton manager, and he faces his former club with Sunderland on Monday evening.

It has been a tough start to life in the north-east for the Scot, who has managed to pick up just one point from three matches, including a 2-1 defeat at home to local rivals Middlesbrough.

The Black Cats look real relegation candidates, although Moyes’ ability to get the most out of average players may eventually shine through.

On the flip side, Everton have started strongly under Ronald Koeman, earning seven points from games against Spurs, West Brom and Stoke.

The Toffees may not have looked anything special so far, but they are far more organised and efficient than they ever were under Roberto Martinez.

It may not be the most mouthwatering contest of the weekend, but seeing Moyes try to get one over on his old team could make for interesting viewing

BET ROUNDTABLE: Play Handicap 0-1 on Barcelona

9/9/2016

Picture
By Toritseju Williams, Ikechukwu Chukwu and Samuel Omaenikun

It's that time of the week once again when we don't just troop to match venues or viewing centres to watch our beloved teams play football and win but it's also that time when we make some serious cash off these teams.

These are just a few games to help you achieve that aim this weekend as BET ROUNDTABLE brings to your doorstep our predictions for this weekend games.

ENGLAND

MANCHESTER UNITED VS MANCHESTER CITY ( DOUBLE CHANCE ON MAN CITY)

With both teams in thrilling form coming into this Derby game, everyone is expecting an exciting matchup but City would come into Old Trafford a little cautious because they will be without their deadly striker Sergio Aguero and might decide not to go all out and keep things tight at the back. Expect Man City not to lose.

LIVERPOOL VS LEICESTER CITY ( DOUBLE CHANCE AND UNDER 4.5 ON LIVERPOOL)

Liverpool will be coming all out against the Champions in this game but Leicester City wouldn't back down either considering both teams haven't had a great start to their league campaign. Expect goals in this game but with Liverpool playing at Anfield it's likely impossible they will lose to Leicester but the game wouldn't have up to five goals in it.

ARSENAL VS SOUTHAMPTON ( ARSENAL WIN)

Arsenal seem to be getting back on track after their abysmal start to the season and with the new signings coming in also, you expect them to be a strong bunch this time around. Southampton haven't done well so far and if you want to compare history, they haven't been great against ARSENAL either. It's a straight forward win for Arsenal with no troubles.

SWANSEA VS CHELSEA (CHELSEA WIN)

The Blues as Chelsea is fondly known by have had a good start having nine points from their first three fixtures but they will face a stiffer test against the Swans. SWANSEA themselves have been terrible so far and the Blues will fancy all three points once more when they visit the Liberty stadium this weekend.

WESTHAM VS WATFORD ( WESTHAM WIN AND UNDER 4.5)

WESTHAM struggled to get a win at their first home game in their new stadium but with WATFORD visiting it just might be a turnaround for the Hammers in terms of their goal scoring in front of their fans. WATFORD will not be easy to crack so don't expect lots of goals in this one but WESTHAM will still carry the day.

SPAIN

BARCELONA VS ALAVES ( HANDICAP 0-1)

Lionel Messi will be missing in this game due to an injury he picked up during the international window but expect Barcelona to still be comfortable going into this game with a newly promoted team. Suarez and Neymar will be seeking to increase their goal tally against a small opposition in ALAVES so expect at least a two goal advantage win for Barcelona.

REAL MADRID VS OSASUNA ( REAL MADRID WIN)

Real Madrid will be looking to keep the pace with title rivals Barcelona when they take on OSASUNA but expect this game not to be a roll over as Osasuna have caused some upsets in time past so Madrid will be weary of their threat. Christiano Ronaldo has declared himself fit and ready to go so Madrid will have enough firepower going forward and no matter the resolute defending Osasuna might come with to the Santiago Bernabau expect them to crack at the end.

CELTA VIGO VS ATHLETICO MADRID ( DOUBLE CHANCE AND UNDER 4.5 ON ATH MADRID)

Atletico Madrid haven't had a superb start to the season struggling to impress in their first two games of the season but expect a change this time as they travel to battle Celta Vigo as Diego Simmeone's men are looking to turn their fortunes around. Do not expect Atletico Madrid not to lose this one but do not expect up to five goals in the game.

ITALY

JUVENTUS VS SASSUOLO (JUVENTUS WIN AND OVER 1.5)

Five times consecutive champions of Italy Juventus will be seeking to continue their dominance and with Sassuolo visiting the Juventus stadium it's likely to be three points guaranteed for Juve. Most Italian teams are not known for their high scoring abilities but expect at least two goals in this game.

ROMA VS SAMPDORIA ( ROMA WIN)

Roma are looking like a team that wants to push for the title this time around and they've been looking decent with their results so far but Sampdoria will not be push-overs but still expect Roma to get a win at the end.

PALERMO VS SSC NAPOLI ( DOUBLE CHANCE ON NAPOLI AND UNDER 4.5)

Napoli will be pushing to outstage Juventus this season to be the Champions of Italy and they have quite a decent squad. Palermo will be tough to crack but expect Napoli not to lose. Resolute defending will be key for Napoli so don't expect up to five goals in the game.

GERMANY

SCHALKE 04 VS BAYERN MUNICH ( BAYERN WIN AND OVER 2.5)

Schalke 04 are no match for this Bayern Munich team with the German champions seeking to continue their dominance expect them to get a win wherever they play. There should be at least three goals in this game but only one winner at the end and that team will be Bayern Munich.

RasenBallspotLipzig Vs BORUSSIA DORTMUND ( DORTMUND WIN)

Newly promoted teams are always a tricky affair for big teams in Germany but expect a stroll for Dortmund in this one as they will be looking to continue to push the boys from Munich for the title so don't expect them to drop points against the new boys in the league.

8 of the Best Bargain Signings Made by Premier League Clubs This Summer

7/9/2016

Picture
By Jamie Spencer

This summer in the Premier League was all about clubs breaking transfer records, sometimes on multiple occasions, and even the world record as far as Manchester United were concerned.

But just as much as the market can be about making 'statements', it's about finding gems on the cheap that may prove to be equally as important.

Here's a look at eight of the best bargain signings made by Premier League over the last few months...

8. Jon Flanagan - Burnley (Loan)

Jon Flanagan has a lot to prove after joining Burnley on loan from Liverpool. But if the Merseyside-native can return to full fitness after an injury ravaged few years, the Clarets will have a top player on their hands as they look to survive in the Premier League.

Flanagan played 25 times for Liverpool in all competitions during the 2013/14 campaign and was so highly thought he was selected for England's provisional World Cup squad.

7. Alvaro Arbeloa - West Ham (Free)

Alvaro Arbeloa is not particularly fashionable and celebrated his 30th birthday way back in January 2013, but the former Real Madrid defender does represent excellent value after joining West Ham on a free transfer.

The full-back is a World Cup and multiple Champions League winner, appeared over 230 times for Real Madrid in seven years, and has previous Premier League experience - he played for Liverpool when they were actually reasonably good.

6. Steve Mandanda - Crystal Palace (£1.5m)

French international goalkeeper Steve Mandanda has been Ligue 1's Goalkeeper of the Year on four occasions - twice in the last two years - as a near ever present for Marseille, and Crystal Palace managed to sign him for just £1.5m.

The Eagles have struggled between the sticks in the last 12 months or so after injury to Julian Speroni, the short-lived Palace career of Alex McCarthy and the unfortunate mistakes that Wayne Hennessey occasionally has up his sleeves. Mandanda should be the answer.

5. Maarten Stekelenburg - Everton (Less Than £1m)

Everton moved early in the transfer market to land 33-year-old Dutch international Maarten Stekelenburg from Fulham, with Ronald Koeman having worked with his fellow countryman at Southampton last season.

The Toffees paid less than £1m for a vastly experienced stopper who has played in a World Cup final, and his early season form is what stopped Everton potentially paying an extortionate £30m or more to sign Joe Hart from Manchester City.

4. Nolito - Manchester City (£13.8m)

Spending £13.8m on a player would still just about represent a club record fee for a handful Premier League clubs, but for Manchester City it is a relative bargain.

City spent far less on Nolito this summer than they have done on the likes of Kevin De Bruyne, Sergio Aguero, David Silva, Raheem Sterling and others in years gone by, but the Spaniard has already proven to be a very effective addition to the team with two goals and an assist in three Premier League games so far.

3. Alvaro Negredo - Middlesbrough (Loan)

Middlesbrough look to be the newly promoted side in with the best chance of staying up, and possibly even challenging for a mid-table finish, after s summer of solid transfer business.

In Alvaro Negredo, on loan from Valencia, Boro have landed themselves an experienced player of great quality on the cheap. It remains a bit of a mystery as to why things fell apart for the Spaniard at Manchester City after such a strong start, but he's back and already firing.

2. Wilfried Bony - Stoke (£2m Loan)

What Stoke have lacked since they returned to the top flight in 2008 is a reliable goalscorer, with no Potters player yet to score more than 11 times in a single Premier League season.

Wilfried Bony, at a loan fee of £2m, has the potential to be that player. The Ivorian netted 26 times in one and half league seasons with Swansea and now has the added desire to prove himself once more after a £27m move to Manchester City didn't work out.

1. Zlatan Ibrahimovic - Manchester United (Free)

Manchester United are paying enormous weekly wages to have Zlatan Ibrahimovic on board for the next season or two, but the Old Trafford club paid no transfer fee for the superstar Swede and that in itself puts him into bargain territory.

Ibrahimovic has already been likened to Eric Cantona, in terms of the quality he brings to the team himself, the awe and aura that surrounds him, and the positive impact in a mentor-type role he is expected to have on the club's younger players.
