PH City 8- Ball Pool League: The failed attempt to kill a dragon

27/2/2019

PictureBaka and Davidaloca not finding things easy
The highlight of Tuesday was no doubt the failed attempt by IgoBoss to slay the dragon. He gave it his best shot, but it certainly was not good enough.

And yes, it was an eyeful watching Pen Dragon struggle for points on the felt as IgoBoss almost took him.

His game (Pen Dragon) seemed a bit off as he missed seemingly easy shots and he miscued when he shouldn’t have.

IgoBoss took him out in two straight games before he was able to get one back and lose the Big Balls 2-1. They took a break and with IgoBoss missing glaring chances, Pen Dragon won the Small Balls 3-0.

How not slay a Dragon

IgoBoss tried and failed and it was the turn of Forte who also had good chances against Pen Dragon and also missed an opportunity to win with 6 balls but he wasn’t up to the task. Forte eventually lost 2-1to Pen Dragon.

Unlucky Aminu

Aminu is new on the Felt but his welcome has not been the kind anyone looks forward to.

He lost his first game 3-0 and then his second game 3-0.

Baka won 2-1 against DArcher and this was after drawing 3-3 against WilloWoo. He also lost 2-1 to Savimbi on Monday.

Chief Marsh is back

Chief Marsh seems to have shaken off the lethargy of his poor performances last week.

He wasted no time to wipe out DArcher 3-0 on Tuesday and then against Amino, he won 3-0.

Nengimo69 is finally picking up some points and his pace in the league. Nengimo69 lost 2-1 to Israel but then beat Zsi Hunghez 2-1.

Shooting stray arrows
DArcher has not been much of an archer since the Pool League began because his shots have been going astray.

Baka beat DArcher 2-1 and Davidaloca also beat him 3-0.

Happy days are here again

And these may be the words of Davidaloca as things seem to be looking up for him.

After his 3-0 win over DArcher, he beat Zen Master 2-1 and then DDK 3-0.

Davidaloca drew 3-3 against TammyJiggy but then it was losses to WillyWoo, 2-1, and Savimbi 2-1

Forte lost 2-1 to Tammy Jiggy, Israel beat Steve 2-1 and IgoBoss lost 1-0 to Tammy Jiggy.

Other results are IgoBoss winning 3-0 against Israel, Sammy winning 3-0 against Willy woo and DDK beating MarkTee 3-0. Israel thrashed Amino 3-0.

Israel takes over at PH City 8- Ball Pool League

25/2/2019

PictureIsrael doing his thing on the Felt
It was not the best of starts for Israel but over the weekend he made himself the man to beat at the ongoing PH City 8 Ball Pool League.

On Thursday and Friday, Israel lost a couple of games from winning positions.

One of them was against Pen Dragon on Friday and there was another against Sammy on Thursday. And the argument was that he either lost concentration too easily or he lacked proper game management to lead him all the way especially in difficult situations on the felt.

Against Pen Dragon on Friday, Israel lost 2-1 and against Sammy on Thursday he lost 3-0. He should have won these games

He beat Chief Marsh 2-1 on Friday though and it seemed like he had gotten back his mojo.

He started with a 2-1 loss to IgoBoss on Sunday, then he beat Forte 4-2. Israel thrashed Razor 4-2 and then took out Zen Master 3-0.

“Let’s just say that I wasn’t really acquainted with the table and things were not going well as planned. Last week I lost to a couple of people and maybe they were just better than I was back then,” Israel told ChinaAcheru.com.

He now sees himself as qualified to win the League.

“It is very possible considering the fact that I am a great player. I am hopeful of better things to come,” Israel said.

Baka blows hot and cold

At this stage of the League it is difficult to figure out Baka. He like Forte and Zen Master will win one and lose two, then come back to win two and maybe lose again.

On Friday night, Baka lost 0-3 to Baresi but on Sunday he came back stronger with a 6-0 spanking of IgoBoss. Baka was determined to recover the lost points all in one day as he challenged Zen Master and won 2-1.

The Zen Master and the King

While we agree that the Zen Master really has no knowledge to pass on to people, the King has to make up his mind if he really is royalty or just the jester in the King’s court.

On Friday, the Zen Master lost 3-0 to MarkTee. Note that MarkTee has not exactly wowed the hall with bright performances. Zen Master took a break and returned on Sunday, this time losing 2-1 to DDK, 3-0 to Israel and 2-1 to Baka.

The King? That’s a laugh because he lost 2-1 to DDK and 2-1 to Chief Marsh. Now tongues are wagging. Is the King really in control of his Kingdom or is he an imposter?

In other games played on Friday, Pen Dragon took out Forte 3-0. That one was quick and brutal.

Pen Dragon beat Israel 2-1 and Tammy Jiggy beat MarkTee 2-1.

On Sunday, Sammy lost 1-2 to IgoBoss.

The Venue is still The Engine Room, V10, 26 King Perekule Street, GRA Phase II in Port Harcourt.

Sammy the King-slayer takes over at PH City 8- Ball Pool League

Picture
The past two days at the PH City 8- Ball Pool League have no doubt belonged to Sammy the King slayer who has slaughtered opponents without remorse at the Engine Room, V10 where the games hold.

On Thursday, Sammy was up against Zsi Hughez and won 2-1.

Against The King, Sammy took his time, respecting royalty but slew him 4-2. It was shocking he didn’t take the king’s head as a trophy.

Israel was next to accept a challenge and he was summarily executed 3-0 by Sammy.

“I am not much of a talker. I just love to play,” Sammy told ChinaAcheru.com.

“When I am playing, I do not talk much because I do not want to be distracted.”

He humbly told ChinaAcheru.com that the player he fears in the League is Pen Dragon.

“I do not think I will win because there are players like Pen Dragon. If there is anyone to fear, it has to be him.”

Zen Master is finished

The Zen is a Mahayana movement, introduced into China in the 6th century and then into Japan in the 12th century.

It emphasizes enlightenment for the student by the most direct possible means, accepting formal studies and observances only when they form part of such means.

However, it seems the master of this movement is yet to be enlightened by any possible means as he cannot find a win from anywhere. How can the Master enlighten the student when he himself lacks knowledge? That is the story of the Zen Master.

On Wednesday Steve took out the Zen Master 6-0; on Thursday, it was the turn of Zsi Hughes as he beat Zen Master 3-0.

Zen Master was up for another challenge, this time against the slain King, but to cap up a bad week for him, the King won 3-0.

Razor taking his time

The pressure should be on Razor, at least ever since he openly challenged Pen Dragon and booked a date for the battle (Match 27).

He has however been taking his games easily, knowing there is a big challenge in a month.

Against Nengimo69, he won 3-0.

Razor against DDK ended 3-3 and when Willo Baba spoke up, Razor won 4-2. One can say he is gradually warming up for the Pen Dragon challenge.

On Wednesday night, Pen Dragon and Steve ended 3-3. Has the Dragon been demystified? Too early to call that one.

Zsi Hughez vs DDK ended 3-3 on Thursday.

War breaks out at PH City 8- Ball Pool League

PictureRazor wins this won but drew 3-3 overall against The King
It was a war of words on Tuesday at The Engine Room, V10, venue of the PH City 8- Ball Pool League as Pen Dragon and Razor got into a war of words. Well, Razor didn’t say much.

Pen Dragon claimed he was insulted by Razor who brandished the fact that he was champion of the Medical College, University of Lagos in 1997, a statement that drew the ire of the dragon.

Pen Dragon had just decimated Mekusa 3-0 and was blowing smoke (not fire) all over the table when someone (Maybe, the Zen Master) pointed out to him that there was a 1997 champion in the building… Mayhem.

“Razor is a small player. Don’t worry. His time is coming. They said he was a champion in 1997. Can you imagine? We are talking about recent times. I became champion in 2006,” Pen Dragon told ChinaAcheru.com.

“If Razor is not respecting me, the table will make him respect me. I’m sure he is listening to me. When I play him, I will give him 7 balls,” Dragon boasted.

Of Pen Dragon’s 3-0 win over Mekusa, two of the games ended with 7 balls.

Razor did not react to Pen Dragon’s utterances at the floor, but took his time to play against The King. It ended 3-3.

Later on, Razor announced a date for his game against Pen Dragon, fixing March 27, 2019. He promised to win 4-2 overall.

The Zen Master, acting as spokesperson for Razor, told ChinaAcheru.com that he would put his money on Razor.

“It is the old school versus the new school. Pen Dragon is coming up. I hear he was champion in 2006. I put my money on Razor. Pen Dragon is almost hundred percent accurate on his shots, but Razor plays like his name. He slices,” Zen Master said.

Baresi continued in his newly found form, thrashing D Archer 5-1, but in his next game, Baresi lost 2-1 to Tammy Jiggy

Tammy Jiggy is back?

It was not just about beating Baresi on the night because Tammy Jiggy had some other remarkable results.

Against D Archer, Jiggy won 4-2; then against Igo, Jiggy won 2-1. He was on point again against Mekusa, winning 3-0 on the same night.

Chief Marsh returned to the table, with only one game lined up for him. He took out D Archer 3-0.

The king beat DDK 2-1 and maybe, the shock result of the night was Sammy losing 2-1 to Igo, or should it have been a shocking result?

The PH City 8- Ball Pool League continues at The Engine Room, V 10, 26 King Perekule Street, GRA Phase II, Port Harcourt.

PH City 8- Ball Pool League: Baresi returns with fire and fury

PictureMan on fire: Baresi pots one
If you had written off Baresi because of his first few games then you would have to think again as it gets more exciting at the PH City 8- Ball Pool League. The interest from the players is growing and the games are getting more and more competitive.

But it is not just Baresi who has been spitting fire in recent match days, because Steve and Sammy have acted the wannabe dragons while Razor certainly needs to sharpen his blades.

Baresi was up against Soblo and won 1-0 as they both agreed on a recess.

But it was the case of one knowing early in the morning that the gods had decided to dine with him. Baresi would not let the opportunity pass him by so he and Sammy accepted their challenge and faced each other on the table.

Just let this sink in that Sammy had left a trail of blood on the table over the weekend, wiping the mess with MarkTee (3-0), Baka (5-1), and Forte (6-0)

Sammy also took out Mickey The Pickey (4-2), Davidaloca (3-0) and Nengimo69 (3-0) so a game between Sammy and Baresi would have meant a bloodbath was imminent so the mob waited, expectant.

Was there a bloodbath?

Well, the game ended 2-1… wait for it… Baresi won that… Did I mention a person waking up with the knowledge that the gods would dine with you? Yup! Baresi was not done yet.

He accepted a challenge from Razor and it ended 3-3, then it was he against MarkTee and Baresi won 5-1.

Forte is neither here nor there

Maybe Forte is on to something. His inconsistency is seeming like his game plan. Man, maybe knows he will not win the league but he maybe prefers a midtable finish. What’s with losing scandalously one day and then brutalizing his opponents the next? That has been Forte’s story since the start of the League.

On Monday, Forte whacked Soblo 5-1, then the other result was a 4-2 loss against DDK.

Baka was at the receiving end once again, this time a 6-0 bashing in the hands of Steve.

Other results on the night were Zen Master 1-5 Sammy, Razor 2-1 Davidaloca and Chief Marsh 3-0 DDK.

The highlights of the night were certainly Baresi’s come back and sweating out a record for the first “Break and Win” of the League and er… Baka joining the “6 Pointers” club.

The games hold at The Engine Room, V10, 26 King Perekule Street, GRA, Phase II, Port Harcourt.

Two weeks of blood and fire at 8 Ball Pool League

18/2/2019

PictureForte huffs and puffs, but wins have been hard to come by for him
The PH City 8 Ball Pool League enters its 3rd week on Monday, February 18, 2019 and it promises to be an interesting week ahead.

But there were games on Sunday. Sammy lost 2-1 to Davidaloca, leaving the victor to cry out that he had returned (One wonders where he went).

Maybe, Davidaloca had really come back because against Forte, it was a 5-1 spanking.

Sammy against MarkTee was 3-0 in favour of Sammy. Sammy really wasted no time on that one.

Sammy again saw a prey in Baka and played the role of the surgeon. He dismembered Baka, limb from limb. 5-1 that one ended.

Sammy probably came out to play on Sunday, really angry about something, judging from the way he dispatched his opponents.

Against Forte, Sammy left no breathing space as it ended 6-0. Forte shouldn’t have come out on the day. It was a bad one for him.

But maybe there was just one chance to redeem himself and he did. In the first leg of his game against Savimbi, Forte won 2-1. It is left to see what the 2nd leg would bring.

Savimbi wasn’t about to lose to Chief Marsh in record breaking time so he upped his game and won 2-1 against the Chief.

Finally, on Sunday, it was Zen master vs MarkTee, a game that went 2-1 in favour of the Zen Master.

Two weeks of blood and fire

After two weeks, the Table shows Chief Marsh in the lead with a total of 53 Points
Steve in 2nd position with 43 points and Pen Dragon in third position with 40 points.

The top contenders for the league are;

Pen Dragon with a winning rate of 89%
Stevo Daminky - 83%
Steve - 80%
Chief Marsh - 70%

Will they maintain these winning streaks? Time will tell.

Chief Marsh has played over 25% of his games while Stevo Daminky is taking his time.

Highlights of week 2 include;

The Pen Dragon taking no prisoners and increasing the number of players he has ‘given 7 balls to 4’

Chief Marsh is on rapid fire taking on all comers and breaking his own record of fastest game again and again and again.

Cool Steve is calmly gathering up points while the Cold blooded Assassin, Stevo Daminky is plucking his opponents one by one.

The Zen Master has found his Chi while Forté has gotten his Mojo back.

Savimbi the warlord is savagely taking territories while Israel appears to be in the wilderness. And the thing about Savimbi is that he plays too much yet wins his games… strategy? It certainly is working.

Baresi has taken the back seat while preparing for a comeback.

Debutant Mickey D’ Pikey, the Lion from the University of Port Harcourt Staff Club Pool League is fast settling in and debutant Mekusa has gone back to the drawing board.

Week 3 promises to be fun with more records broken and many hot challenges.

PH City 8- Ball Pool League: Between the dragon and the Lion

17/2/2019

Who is the king of the jungle? The lion, they say, but what about the dragon? Does he live in the jungle or is he a mythical tale from an old children story book?

Pen Dragon has begun to think himself infallible. He believes he has won the League already even though it is yet to get to the half way stage and most of all he believes all must bow to him… That was Pen Dragon on Match Day 11 at the PH City 8- Ball.

However, the champion from the University of Port Harcourt, Mikey the Pickey made a grand entrance on Saturday and was full of praises for himself, something that did not go down well with the Dragon who engaged him in a war of words. The banter was great, but who is the king of the Jungle? Certainly not the Dragon… He doesn’t live in the jungle but in the imagination of fairy tale writers.

Nengimo69 not taking chances

If the stony look on your face could win you games, then Nengimo69 would have been break away leader by now. However, the stone cold appearance turns out to be the exact opposite of his play. He tries to focus but somehow, something happens in-game that throws his victory to the opponent.

Against Forte, himself one of those not having a top notch performance, Nengimo69 ended it 3-3.

The return of Baka

Baka started so well, wowing the analysts with his unconventional style but after the first two match days, he could hardly put his cue stick right. Four match days ago he was a victim of Pen Dragon’s 7 ball win and it seemed Baka had lost his way, but on Saturday, he won 5-1 against Israel and he made sure every won heard about the result. Yes, Baka won 5-1, roll the drum sticks and let the trumpet sound (not that trumpet, though).

Not much of a champion

Mickey Di Pickey came in with the reputation of being the Champion of the University of Port Harcourt, but it was apparent one of two things was happening.

Either he deliberately chose not to poke his best hand or the University do not have players to reckon with.

Sammy took out Mickey 4-2. Wow! Not much of a performance from a champion.

But maybe, Mickey heard us talking behind his back and went out, all guns blazing on Forte. It was 3-0 at the end of the first leg.

Not good days for Forte

Forte is really having a hard time getting his acts together as he was whacked 5-1 by Steve.

More Dragonfire

Pen Dragon believes so much in himself that he threatened everyone who as much as walked past a cue stick that he was going to spit Dragon Fire on them.

He boasted openly about his 7 ball wins and declared on the floor that he would sacrifice one player per day with a 7 ball win. Pen Dragon was loudmouthed, saucy and maybe a tad annoying, but isn’t that natural with talent? He was walking the talk and not making threats so all the opponents just cowered in fear, or at least kept straight faces like they did not care, but didn’t they?

Against Nengimo69 it was 3-0 though it seemed like Nengimo69 got a raw deal. He should have won the first game when he had just the Black ball to pot with the Dragon having four balls left on the table but somehow managed to lose. Then it seemed like Pen Dragon escaped with a foul and went on the win one of the games drawing the ire of Mickey the Pickey (who else?).

Finally, Pen Dragon came head to head with Mickey the Pickey (who writes these scripts). Before the game, the Dragon had angrily bellowed to anyone who cared to listen that it was an insult to him for Mickey to claim he is a champion.

“He says he is champion of the University of Port Harcourt, what an insult,” Pen Dragon told ChinaAcheru.com.

“I am the champion of Port Harcourt and the University of Port Harcourt is in Port Harcourt so what rubbish is that?” Pen Dragon was on fire.

How did it end? It was a quick 3-0 to Pen Dragon. The champion of Port Harcourt crushed the champion of the University of Port Harcourt. But it was just the first leg. They still have the Small Balls to play.

Who on earth is Sammy?

Sammy had earlier taken out the champion of the University of Port Harcourt (Pen Dragon won’t like this) 4-2.

Sammy came up against Davidaloca and crushed him 3-0; again against MarkTee, Sammy won 2-1 and yet was on hand again to beat Nengimo69 who was obviously having a bad day. It was 3-0 against Nengimo69.

Not so sharp Razor or is Savimbi underrated?

Razor lost 4-2 to Savimbi and it opened the question on if he had lost his sharpness or maybe Savimbi is being underrated.

Savimbi jokes a lot on the table and maybe acts like he is not so sure of himself but has had some decent wins since the League began.

Chief Marsh beat Israel 3-1 and that game should continue and round up soon. Marsh is notorious for always being in a hurry and ending games in record time. It is left to see if he can still lower the record for the fastest game.

PH City 8- Ball League: Lightening Marsh and the Dragon

13/2/2019

Picture
Chief Marsh is probably always in a hurry to go home so he ends his games in record time and this has not happened just once at the PH City 8- Ball Pool League.

Everyone playing knows there is a prize for the fastest game but probably just Marsh has taken it to heart or maybe he lives so far away and has to beat curfew, but what do we know?

Marsh had a very interesting encounter with Razor on Tuesday, where Razor had the felt and the gods of pool on his side and went ahead to take the first leg 3:0 with the Big Balls, thereafter he made a hasty retreat to play the second leg at a later date.

Chief Marsh then went out in search of blood and slaughtered Baka 5:1 and Nengimo69 6:0 to end the night in GRAND STYLE. Did someone ask, why Grand style? It wasn’t really about the score line but his lightning speed in achieving the result.

He took the game in one minute and forty seconds.

Chief Marsh spoke on his record

“I think it has to do with style of play. It feels good to set a record and break it again.it makes me feel like Usain Bolt. But for that, it depends on how you go about the game. You need to take your chances. I believe I took mine to enable me set a record and break it,” Marsh said

The dragon connection

Maybe it may not be out of place that Chief Marsh has been setting and breaking records because he just revealed that he was taught by the dragon himself.

“I cannot say I can win this league because there are lots of top players here. Star Boy, Pen Dragon, Steve and a few others. I was taught to play this game eighteen years ago by Pen Dragon. He is a every good player so when you have players like that, you cannot say for sure you are going to win the League,” Marsh said.

The excitement and surprises were unending yesterday as players started trooping in quite early and the games kept piling......

Steve jangled his games in his usual cool manner, ever ready to take opponents on, the ‘strong’ hands quietly squared themselves up and picked wisely.....

D’Archer showed amazing marksmanship against Razor while MarkTee made his debut but met an unfriendly and jealous felt.......the Zen Master is slowly making a comeback and players have taken on a very spiritual approach to the game.........

The highlights of the day included Steve who broke the record for fastest game and brought it down to 2m 45 secs only for it to be decimated by Chief Marsh.......

The Pen Dragon found a tough opponent in TammyJiggy who lost his nerve when it mattered the most and failed like many before him to Slay the Dragon....

Without a doubt Chief Marsh was the player of the day and is certainly a top contender for the League’s Top Position.......

Dragon fire at 8- Ball pool League and Zen Master bends the knee

12/2/2019

PictureDazed! Baka still can't tell what hit him
Monday, February 11 was full of intrigues at the PHC 8- Ball Pool League as the Pen Dragon established his dominance and Zen Master bent his knee after taking a beating for the umpteenth time.

The cynosure of all eyes before Match Day 6 were no doubt, Baka, Star Boy and Razor, but the Pen Dragon had been there all the while setting the table on fire when he played and Monday was no different.

He (Dragon) was not in the mood for niceties as he dispatched Baresi 6-0 to take an early rest from proceedings.

Baka challenged the Pen Dragon in another game and went ahead 1-0 (yes that surprised even Baka himself) and then they took a recess. To be continued, that is one we should watch out for.

So much rust on the table

D’Archer and Impresario made their debut appearances in the league with D’Archer taking three games from right under the nose of Impresario.......these two players haven’t found their rhythm yet but they are to watched out for in the tournament......there were some dazzling shots and moments of wizardry during their first leg meet with Big Balls.

There were also moments where it seemed they had never held a Cue Stick all their lives but isn’t that what rust does to you? Obviously they had been out of the game for long.

Record breaking Marsh

For a while, the announcement was made across the table that there would be a prize for the fastest game and the record stood at 3m 12 seconds. It seemed no one was interested in lowering that time until Chief March came to town.

Marsh walked majestically into the hall, Cue Sticks on both sides as though about to engage in an old western gun draw.

He took out Davidaloca 3-0 but not satisfied with his timing, went for the jugular of Baka.

Before the hall settled to enjoy the game, Baka was out 3-0. Guess what? It took the Chief just 2 minutes and 55 seconds.

It was the debut appearance of Chief Marsh in the League and he did it with style, slicing through his opponents easily with excellent ball control and showmanship.

Who can tame the dragon?

Pen Dragon seems the most feared player yet at the League, but maybe there might just be one, meaner and tougher than he is.

Stevo Daminsky walked into the hall on Monday, looking like an assassin about to take out a high level target. He left no expression on his face and his eyes did not reveal the intent of his heart. He stayed focused on his immediate assignment which was to destroy any opponent at arm’s length. He certainly meant business.  Sadly enough, his opponent on the day, Forte was yet to shake off the lethargy of his previous losses and was no match for Daminsky.

It ended 6-0 and Daminsky without showing emotions got up and left, but not before shaking hands with a few friends who he didn’t see or realise their existence close to him while the game was on.

Savimbi destroyed Western 5-1 while Steve beat Soblo 3-0.

Savimbi had enough time to accept a challenge from the Zen Master and finally forced him to bend the knee. He took out the Zen 6-0.

Zsi Hughes beat Baresi 2-1

Monday, generally was an amazing day with an array of players ready to take each other on. It was a bad day for some and a record breaking/setting day for others.

The League continues at the Engine Room, V10 Lounge, 26 King Perekule Street, G.R.A. phase II, Port Harcourt

Wizards, blunt razors and a failed attempt at killing a dragon

11/2/2019

Picture
It was a weekend of shocks, near misses and a failed practical class on how to kill a dragon.

Then out of nowhere, the witches and wizards appeared from hiding, making the table vibrate with amazing shots. The PH City 8- Ball Pool League entered day 4 and 5 over the weekend and it gets more exciting.

Razor's edge is blunt?

There were blunt blades on Saturday as Razor failed to go past Steve. With the Big Balls, Steve won 2-1 and 2-1 again with the Small Balls to end the encounter as 4-2 winner over Razor.

Razor lost again, this time against Sammy, 2-1 each for Big and Small Balls

Razor surely needs to sharpen his cue stick or possibly visit Okochiri with Baka who has been winning through what some see as uncanny means. He probably needs to know what Baka knows.

Talking about Baka, he won again on Saturday… Did that surprise anyone? Certainly not me.

Remember him (Baka) beating a hasty retreat on a previous Game Day against Nengimo69? Yes! He had gone into a 2-0 lead with the Big Balls before Nengimo69 pulled one back to make it 2-1 then win the first game with Small Balls tying it at 2-2 and then Baka asked for a recess.

Baka won the two remaining games to take the game at 4-2.

Star Boy is still shining

It is safe to say Whizkid has got nothing on Star Boy. We watched in amazement last week as Star Boy annihilated the Zen Master 6-0 and he was at it again on Saturday, IgoBoss was his latest victim.

Star Boy won the Big Balls 2-1 and got the same winning margin with the Small Balls, ending the game 4-2.

A comeback for Forté?

After losing scandalously to Razor on Friday, one would have thought Forte would not even turn up for the next game.

But after that loss he stated that he hadn’t played for a while and needed to get used to the Cue Stick and table once again. He also talked about the sticks being strange since he didn’t own his. He wasn’t just making excuses because his next game was a lot different.

Forte was up against Willy Woo and with one game under his belt it was a much better performance than against Razor.

He lost the Big Balls 2-1 but won the Small Balls 2-1 to end the encounter 3-3.

The Pen Dragon has been demystified

Has the Pen Dragon been demystified or did he just have a bad day at the office?

Well, the result from Saturday show that he won both duels but dropped two games though.

Against Sammy, it was 2-1 to him with Big Balls and 2-1 with Small Balls while against Zsi Hughes, he took no prisoners winning 6-0. That certainly made a statement, didn’t it?

High point of the night (Saturday) was no doubt the match between Sammy and the much Dreaded Pen Dragon.

Sammy took the first game to the surprise of everyone present.

The second game went Sammy's way when he almost finished the game with Pen Dragon on 7 balls but committed a foul while potting the black ball losing the game to Pen Dragon who went on to take the lead finishing 4:2 in favor of Pen Dragon.

The Pen Dragon remained silent for over thirty minutes before he found his voice and his rhythm going ahead to destroy his other opponent for the night

Sunday’s Games

Baka lost 4-2 to Razor on Sunday, 2-1 via Big Balls and 2-1 via Small Balls

How did Baka fall? What did Razor do? Did he make that visit to Okochiri? Probably without Baka?
